At COAPE (Centre of Applied Pet Ethology), I completed a diploma course granting British qualifications as an animal behaviourist, as well as the THINK CAT and petsitting courses.
During my biology studies, I gained a solid foundation in animal anatomy, physiology, ecology and ethology.
To deepen my expertise in feline behavioural medicine, I completed the Advanced Course for Feline Behaviourists at PET IDEA , taught by Dr Martyna Woszczyło, veterinarian and doctor of veterinary sciences.
I regularly attend courses, webinars, and professional conferences to continually improve my skills and stay up to date.
MY APPROACH
My main area of work and interest is feline behavioural disorders, although I also work with dog owners and other animal guardians.
I approach every animal with respect and an individual mindset, as each has a unique character and rich emotional life.
Equally important to me is respect and empathy for the guardian, whose concerns I treat as unique and deserving of a personalised approach.
When working with a new case, I try to see the world from the cat’s perspective, as emotions lie at the root of every behaviour.
That is why I carefully analyse the animal’s emotions, the fulfilment of its species-specific needs, and its past experiences.
This allows me to identify the root cause of the problem and propose the most effective behavioural therapy, adapted to both the animal and its guardian.
An important part of my work is educating guardians – helping them better understand their animals, which often seem mysterious to them.
I explain the species-specific needs of their pets so they can build a relationship based on trust, respect, and mutual understanding.
